​I'm always in implacable pursuit of poetic image-making, immersing audiences in a striking, visceral and sensory cinematic world. In many ways my commercial and scripted work echo each other in their stylistic and tonal endeavour. I want to breathe life into the human experience, conveying sound, scent and sight, transporting the viewer into every frame, conveying the atmosphere of both the inner and outer world.

 

My visual language searches to deepen our understanding and empathy about what it is to be human, with an emphasis on the complex beauty inherent in all life, primal and elemental, vital and dream-like. My life philosophy is an amalgam of nihilism, absurdism, and spiritual zen monkery! 

 

Subversive, curious, obsessive, and work addicted, I rarely rest, or switch off,  instead every moment of every second, waking hours, or dead of night, I'm panning for the gold of human poetry.

 

I have been described as intense.
